The LORIA is highly implicated in doctoral and graduate training. Each year, LORIA offers PhD funding through either university doctoral stipends, CIFRE contracts through industrial partnerships, research contracts and national or european grants, for instance through the ANR (the French National Research Agency) or PCRD. With its rich scientific environment, LORIA provides high quality scientific training, integrated and coordinated with the local Doctoral Studies Supervisory Board in Computer Science (DFD Informatique).

Doctoral Studies Supervisory Board – DFD Informatique

The Doctoral Studies Supervisory Board in Computer Science (Département de Formation Doctorale, DFD en informatique)  is one of the four departments of the College of Doctoral Studies IAEM which groups all doctoral training programs of the Université de Lorraine in Computer Science, Control and Automation, Electric Engineering and Mathematics. The Doctoral Studies Supervisory Board in Computer Science is composed of all faculty of the LORIA, LITA and CRAI labs detaining a  Habilitation Diploma. It holds two plenary sessions per year and delegates regular operations to its Executive Board of 9 elected members.

If you are interested in conducting research in one of LORIA’s research teams, please directly contact the team’s leader for further information.
